Seasons

A year in Exocolonist is cut up into 13 months: 3 for each of 4 seasons, followed by a single month of Glow season. Some story events happen during specific dates, and which collectibles spawn near the colony are depending on season.

Quiet	Silent season when everything hibernates underground and it's the safest time to explore and forage. The air is cooler and it snows blue spark snow which freezes at higher temperature than water.	The Prosaic Plains
Pollen	Dangerous season when the world wakes up with a bang. The air is often filled with thick pink pollen.	The Valley of Vertigo
Dust	Bright season when both suns are highest in the sky, a time of harvest with occasional heat waves.	The Western Wresting Ridge
Wet	A time of heavy rain and electrical storms. Water levels rise and dangerous creatures emerge from it.	The Subaqueous Swamps
Glow	A short season when both suns do not rise above the horizon. The world comes alive with phosphorescence and strange sounds. A very dangerous time to be outside the colony, when aliens attack every year.
