Instance is an inhabitant of the Colony who arrived on Vertumna aboard the Stratospheric alongside the player character.

Instance works in Engineering and is a member of the Council as Chief Engineer. She is a serious researcher who is very dedicated to her work and does not like wasting time.

Instance works closely with Tangent in the lab. She is not only a mentor to her, but also a mother figure. She helped her undergo genome treatment on the Stratospheric before landing on Vertumna.
