After your long life in Vertumna you will see the death of some characters in the game. Some of this cannot be avoided, but others can be easily or hardly avoided by making actions and upgrading skills.

Some of these require, or are made easier by having memories from past runs. It is also good to have a lot of perception and/or a few biology points. |

Helping Tangent also helps get the shimmer cure too. When you get the mushroom sample you have to go to biology (It does not matter if you've never been to biology before.) and then Instance and Tangent will end up making a cure for the disease. |
